Description
26C3 is a high carbon, very clean, fine-grained steel capable of high hardness and holding very fine edges, making this steel suited to kitchen knives, razors etc where extreme wear resistance is not always needed. This is the go to steel for hamons.
Since 26C3 is a High Carbon steel, it will rust if not properly taken care of. The finished blades should be cleaned and oiled after use to avoid corrosion.
